Students at M.M. Robinson High School are immensely excited about entering the "International First Robotics Competition" this year. This is our second year taking part in the competition and we need all the support we can get. In general, the FIRST Robotics Competition (FRC) challenged teams of high school students worldwide (and their engineering mentors) to solve a common problem in a six-week timeframe. Teams build robots from the parts to play a game where the objective is to score points and compete with others. It is a highly rewarding experience for students who are inspired to pursue engineering as a professional career. The opportunities makes it possible for our students to excel in design, team spirit, gracious professionalism, maturity, and ability to overcome obstacles.
